What is the clay bar treatment?

It's as it says. A clay bar is used to remove and collect any contaminants and particles that may be damaging your paint without you knowing. These harmful contaminants may penetrate and cause damage to the paint's protective coating, leading to lasting damage too deep to clean. If you prize your mobile possession, it'd be in your best interest to consider giving it a clay bar treatment.

Why consider the treatment?

It can be done in lieu of buffing or polishing the vehicle's surface since it is less abrasive than those methods. If you run your hand over the clean surface of your vehicle and feel a certain roughness to it, we recommend that you clay. And for those who go above and beyond for their ride, we recommend using clay as well to give the paint full preventative protection and paint decontamination.

How often should it be done?

Not often at all. It is recommended that your vehicle be treated at least twice a year, but it may be done as frequently as desired. You could do it yourself, but we recommend you rely on our expertise at the craft to ensure there's no unnecessary damages.

What all comes with the package?

You get professional grade products with premier grade service. We include an individualized kit. The kit comes with a microfiber towel, lubricant, and 2 clay bars.

  • Whenever you want to wipe the outside surface of your car, it should always be done with a microfiber cloth. The fabric's fibers are roughly a fraction of the diameter of human hair. This way it prevents any of the fibers from damaging the paint or protective coating.
  • The lubricant is vital, as it acts as a thin protective film to keep the clay from causing further damage to the paint. With the lubricant applied, the clay will glide smoothly over the surface; picking up any and all unwanted remnants.
  • The detailing clay itself is made to be more elastic and durable than your average Play-Doh. It is specifically designed to be stretched, smashed, flattened, and rolled as it picks up brake dust, rail dust, overspray, and industrial fallout.

How much is it going to cost me?

Relatively, close to nothing. How's that, you may ask? Consider how much you're saving from having to pay for an entire paint job. Imagine how much more the resale value will be with the paint in pristine condition. Think of this service as an investment. You're getting it done about twice a year and you're getting all the benefits. The value alone outweighs the cost by a phenomenal amount. You'd already be saving from all those washes. The difference between them is that clay bar treatment will remove what washing cannot.
